Welcome to the UMass Boston Writing Center! Individual consultations are available online (via WCOnline), in person in Campus Center, 1st Floor, Room 1300, or at our satellite location in Wheatley Hall, 6th Floor, Room 48.

Fall 2025 Schedule: 

• Mondays: 10am-5:00pm (main location), 5:00pm-8:00pm (satellite location) 

• Tuesdays: 10am-5:00pm (main location), 5:00pm-8:00pm (satellite location) 

• Wednesdays: 10am-5:00pm (main location), 5:00pm-8:00pm (satellite location)

• Thursdays: 10am-5:00pm (main location), 5:00pm-8:00pm (satellite location) 

• Fridays: 10am-2:00pm (main location) 

• Sundays: 3:00pm-7:00pm (Online only) 

We have in person drop-in hours (no appointment needed) during the following days and times:  

• Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays: 3-5pm (main location)  

• Fridays: 12-2pm (main location) 

Note that drop-in hours sessions are usually shorter than our 45-minute scheduled appointments. 

Locations: 

Main location: Campus Center, first floor, room 1300 - Located all the way in the back of this space past the second glass door. 

Satellite location: Wheatley Hall, sixth floor, room 48 - Used for evening hours. This location tends to be a bit quieter. 

Online: If your appointment is online, log back into WCOnline, find your appointment slot, click on it, click "start or join online consultation".
